159 meters, the water of the Nidertais plunges over two steep slopes in the depth, making it the largest waterfall in Tyrol. The water atomises and stands in the air all around, where the name "Stuibenfall" comes from.

Over 700 steps and an exposed, 80m long suspension bridge you can hike along the roaring water masses up to the observation deck.

Also for climbers, the waterfall is a highlight: Directly to the left of the falling water masses, a family-friendly via ferrata is created. First-class secured and in the lower to medium difficulty area a unique experience for the whole family.

The Stuibenfall is the highest waterfall in Tyrol with a drop of 159 meters. On average, 610 liters of water per second flow over the edge of the rock. Since the stream is largely fed by the meltwater of Zwieselbach and Grastalferner, it has the largest water supply in summer.

The waterfall is absolutely worth seeing, the ascent over the suspension bridge is an adventure. The many steps are to be overcome. At the top, delicious food and a cool blond in the restaurant await the hungry hikers. Absolutely top.

Nice easy family via ferrata. Helmet and via ferrata set are absolutely necessary.
The difficulties are mainly in the area A/B. Some sites are said to be C.
Nice view of the waterfall. An airy rope bridge leads over the spray.

Convenient to walk on a steel staircase along the falls or via a via ferrata.

The via ferrata alone is worth the journey. The upper part is especially interesting when you have to balance over the wire rope directly over the falling edge of the waterfall. An unforgettable experience.
