ハイキング
Simple hut, which is run on a voluntary basis by members of the St. Pölten Mountain Association. Open from early May to early November on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. When the hut is not open, there is a freely accessible winter room with two beds available. We were given a very friendly welcome. The hut is right next to the summit of the Türnitzer Höger.

Simple but very rustic hut, where you are greeted very warmly after a strenuous climb. The ascent routes are all strenuous, but the view is truly sensational. You can see a large part of the Lower Austrian (pre-)Alps. I have enjoyed the tour to this hut several times!

The Türnitzer hut is located near the summit and is farmed on Sa, Su and FT from 1st May to 1st November (as indicated in the valley)
