Very nice hike around the Rotsee. Can be done all year round. There are many benches along the way to enjoy the beautiful view. Can also be done on foot with children (from 10 years). You must be in good condition.
There is also a ferry (Rotsee ferry) that goes from side to side. (Gebürenpflichtig)
Important: This is not in operation from December to March.
There are still public toilets at the Regatta Club. As well as a very nice large meadow to relax. Or nod to a spade. In addition, a very nice playground for the young children.
For a stopover, you can have a drink or a meal on the way to the Regatta restaurant.
In the warm months you can go swimming at the Rotsee Badi. Is small but nice, and very familiar and also very pleasant. Otherwise is on the whole Rotsee (swimming ban)
Important: This tour starts directly at the Rotsee Equestrian Center. See photo of my yellow Suzuki car on the side where my car is parked, but there is limited public parking (fees free). Vis a vis of it can not be parked as they belong to the Rotsee equestrian center. Otherwise, this hike can also be started from the public car park at the Rotsee Badi (subject to a fee). Or from the public car park (chargeable) at the Regatta Restaurant.
