Shrines - like this one - are monuments to piety from days gone by. The red shrine dates from 1836 and was once used as a station picture of an old pilgrimage route. The image was moved to its current location in 1906 and shows the image of the Holy Trinity.

The wayside shrine Dürrwiesenfeld is a protected monument in the area of the Unterpleichfeld district of Rupprechtshausen in the northern district of Würzburg.

"Wayside shrine, relief attachment with the Holy Family and Trinity, back with Scourge Christ, on column above table base with inscription, sandstone, referring to 1836." The columned shrine has a total height of 3.35 meters.
