Covered fountain on the Sauerbornbach, which flows a few meters further into the Werkersbach. A narrow, slippery staircase leads down to the visibly iron-rich water, which has been used as medicinal water since the mid-18th century. The brick surround also dates from this period. A roof was not erected until 1930 by the Reich Labor Service (RAD), which had its camp about six kilometers further along the Wispertalsteig. Signs today warn against using the water.
