There is a lot to discover in Kremsmünster Abbey. For example, a Baroque garden house, a fish farm or the library. Particularly interesting, because extraordinary, is the Mathematical Tower: It is the first European skyscraper and was built as an observatory. Its construction was very difficult to implement at that time, everything was designed for optimal observation of the universe. The monastery, where monks still live, can be visited and is therefore a great destination on every tour.

Beautiful monastery complex with wonderful views of the landscape. Library worth seeing and a really great atmosphere. You can also visit the observatory, but you have to make a reservation. There is also a nice restaurant with good cuisine.
