"The viewing pulpit offers a fantastic view of Bad Ems. It is connected to numerous Wanerweg trails, such as the romantic circuit.

The now wooded slope of the Klopp was a vineyard from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. The old dry stone walls can still be seen today. Since 1896 the Bismarck-Promenade has been reminiscent of a walk taken by the former Chancellor. The Ernst-Vogler-Weg with the lookout pulpit was laid out as a walking path in 1912 and follows an old vineyard path. While the row of houses of former hotels extends directly below us in Römerstrasse, the villas, the Russian Church and the Kaiser Wilhelm Church as well as the Malbergbahn are located on the slope of the Malberg. "
