"Sellin is known for its hundred-year-old seaside architecture, the showpiece of which is the old, new Wilhelmstrasse with its villas that lead up to the steep bank.

The pier is definitely worth a visit. There is an inn on the bridge. You can also celebrate weddings here. At the end of the bridge there is a diving gondola.

Sellin is located in the southeastern part of the wooded Granitz mountain range between the Baltic Sea and the picturesque Sellin Lake. In addition to its natural location, the Baltic Sea resort has a lot to offer that makes vacations appealing in the best sense of the word. Families in particular will appreciate that the seaside resort has been awarded the "Gustav". This is a funny, crowned fish that stands for tested quality as part of the "MV Family Vacation" initiative. In short: In Sellin, family friendliness is a given.

The place also looks good on the outside. In the historic town center, many lavishly renovated and restored houses testify to the development from a fishing village to an attractive seaside resort. And Wilhelmstrasse and Warmbadstrasse in particular offer an architecturally attractive ensemble of seaside architecture. This is linked to a large number of shops, cafés and restaurants, hotels and guest houses that invite you to stroll, shop and linger. An architectural highlight is the magnificent pier, which was reopened in 1998 based on the historical model of the previous buildings from 1906 and 1925.
The wide, fine sandy Baltic Sea beach in front of Sellin, which is divided into north and south beaches to the left and right of the pier, ensures unadulterated bathing fun. Sun worshippers, sandcastle builders and water sports enthusiasts will find everything their hearts desire here.
