Medevi Brunn is Scandinavia's oldest spa in the municipality of Motala on the eastern shore of Lake Vättern in the northwest of Östergötland, Sweden.

The spa was founded in 1678 by Count Gustaf Soop and the royal doctor Urban Hjärne. On the recommendation of Hjärne, Queen Hedvig Eleonora had a summer residence built in Medevi säteri on the hills above the village.

Since then, every summer people come to Medevi to heal themselves by drinking the mineral water and wrapping themselves in mud packs. Most buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries. The health center was closed in 1982, but the water is still served to visitors during the summer.
Medevi has become one of the most popular holiday resorts for Scandinavian summer vacations in midsummer. During the midsummer weekend, daily visitors in the village often count more than 10,000. Near Medevi, the construction of summer residences, some of them inhabited year-round, has increased dramatically. Alone the nearby beach village Västanvik has over 500 such residences. Every year, two confirmation camps are held, led by Hans Rhodin. Sweden's 15-year-old from the upper class come for three weeks.

It's a historic place. Mainly an open museum.
On summer, you can have a fika and folk music. It's mainly open the weekend in the summer season. For Midsummer it's open all the weekend.
