Set between two high cliffs, the Lude Valley is a wild site of great natural wealth, protected since 1973.
The legend claims that it is a testimony to the struggle between Good and Evil. During a fight with the demon, the Archangel Saint Michael would have split the cliff with a blow of his sword. Satan finds refuge behind the Rocher du Sard, which since then has also been called Devil's Rock.
