The start and end point of the Black Forest Trail is at the train station in Bad Peterstal, stop of the Ortenau S-Bahn.
Parking is located directly at the train station (free of charge, unlimited).

"... The Schwarzwaldsteig is a nice way to leave everyday stress behind and immerse yourself in the varied nature. The premium circular hiking trail is characterized by varied routes with impressive views and distant views along the heights of the Black Forest.
Nature lovers and hikers will get their money's worth on this circular route and can deal with the geological peculiarities such as the Ibacher cut along the way. A total of 489 vertical meters will be overcome on the approximately 11 km long and sectionally challenging hike. The many benches and sky loungers along the way invite you to take short breaks and linger.
You can strengthen yourself e.g. at the beverage fountain at the Holderstanzenhof or during a stop at the Braunbergstüble. The two Kneipp facilities along the way bring a refreshing refreshment. ... "
