Easy excursion on Lake Como. Departure from the center of Argegno (mule track starts from Via Cacciatori delle Alpi). If you can't find parking like me, take the road towards Valle Intelvi by car and park as soon as possible. I found it going up a couple of bends (see track) - the path, or rather the mule track, is very well signposted with signs and white and lilac indicators (path no. 5). It starts immediately uphill and uphill will be for the entire route. Good bottom of cobblestones. I recommend the autumn/winter tour as the lack of leaves makes the whole route very scenic. Definitely avoid the summer period if you don't want to die of heat. It initially passes between the houses of Argegno and Dizzasco and then enters the wood of beech and chestnut trees. No possibility of supplying water except in the initial stretch. Presence of wild animals. Shortly before arriving Pigra I found a wild boar and several deer. Route recommended for everyone but you need to be on good footing because, as mentioned, there is no shortage of climbing and it is constant. Upon arrival, a visit to the village of Pigra is recommended. Very quaint and scenic. Possibility to have lunch in some places. exposed traits (vertigo) ZERO
