The "Zunfthaus der Schiffleute" in Ulm, Fischergasse 31, was built in the 15th century at the lowest point of the quarter "under the fishermen". It was located directly on the so-called "Gumpen", a small port within the built in 1480 city wall on the Danube opposite the later (1843) canceled "inlet tower". In this tower was until the beginning of the 19th century, the only well-guarded access to the city after the evening closing of the gates. Here each had an Ulm shipbuilder his "official residence".

The "guild house of the shipmen" in Ulm, Fischergasse 31, was built in the 15th century at the lowest point of the quarter "among the fishermen".
