Falkenstein has its own idyllic atmosphere. A modern farm in partially historic buildings, then further down to the valley, the remaining buildings of the former outer bailey and finally the view from the orphaned stable on the rock. I think it is easy to imagine how a fortified castle once overlooked the valley from the rock.

Definitely take the path with the sign "to the view". Here you first go down a small path. Then up a steep, narrow staircase again. Hold the railing firmly.
There is also an easier way. Just walk to the Falkenstein building and across the courtyard.
