The "Spitzige Lun" (formerly Rhaeto-Romanic = Piz Lun) is certainly one of the most magnificent viewing platforms in the Upper Venosta Valley, relatively easy to reach from Matsch. But there are also other opportunities for advancement, e.g. B. von Muntetschinig. Descent to Planeil in the mountain village of the same name is worthwhile.

Reachable from Matsch in around two and a half hours on an easy mountain path. Fantastic view of the Upper Vinschgau and the Münstertal. If you climb a few more steps, you will see Haider and Reschensee on the other side across the Planeiltal. Descent over the Niederjoch or 17 km variant over the Hochjoch and path no.15.
