Wonderful view and beautiful summit cross. From up here you can see endless distances when the weather is nice. The Zirbitzkogel is well attended, which is why it is usually difficult to find a place at the Zirbitzkogel shelter.
You can choose from different routes to the Zirbitzkogel. Whether easy or strenuous. There is something for everybody. The route from the Waldheimhütte is particularly beautiful.

Many paths lead to this promising and always well attended summit. The deep views of the Lavantsee are also a bit off the summit cross.
