The old municipal cemetery near the Church of the Redeemer in Lohbrügg contains, among other things, the mausoleum of Wilhelm Bergner (1835-1904), the founder of the Bergedorf ironworks.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Church of the Redeemer, built in 1899, the old cemetery grounds were transformed into a beautiful green space with an artificial waterway and a collection of old Lohbrügg gravestones.
