It was beautiful here, and also much quieter because only a fraction of the people came here. But we weren't allowed to swim and after 15 minutes we were asked to leave. The measures are all sensible, but ultimately disappointing. Many paths are closed because of the high risk of fire and because of people who can't stay on the paths and throw their rubbish into the landscape.

Cascade de Sillans is a waterfall in France. The waterfall is located in the commune of the same name Sillans-la-Cascade in the department Var. The river Bresque falls over a height of 44 meters.

Very nice waterfall, with a great view

A great view of the falls. Otherwise the view is mostly denied by the dense forest cover.

Since the access below to the foot of the waterfall is blocked or not really accessible, you have the best view of the waterfall here, in addition to the mostly overcrowded viewpoint opposite.

Sillans-la-Cascade is a small town in the Var located on the banks of the Bresque. This town lives mainly from tourism. The village indeed has a remarkable natural site: the Cascade de Sillans. You will reach the waterfall by taking a charming path through the olive groves starting from the village.

The open parking lot offers a great view of the small church of the village.
