A very nice rest and picnic area with a table and benches. One side is beautifully planted with bushes. Unfortunately it is BEHIND the dyke... But at least there is a staircase up.

In 1937, red and white striped lighthouses were built in the area in front of the dyke and on the outskirts of Glückstadt. Both towers, the 34-meter-high upper light and the 17-meter-high lower light, were made of concrete and had an iron triangular lantern with slanted window glazing.
