I am always amazed at the dimensions of the churches in the small towns of Schleswig Holstein. This octagon building can also impress with its size alone. But also with its shape. The inauguration took place in 1772, named after the Russian tsarina Catherine II, who was the sovereign at the time. The slim tower is currently (June 2020) scaffolding and is being renovated.
