Arnkiel Park Oeversee: In the Oeversee district of Schleswig-Flensburg, one of the most important megalithic tombs dating back over 5,000 years is located. Arnkiel Park has been developed around this monument, which includes a restored long grave. Frörup has an old water-powered mill, driven by the Treene River and used for grinding grain. It was probably established in the 13th century. Later, the mill belonged to the Cistercian monastery of Rüde. The abbot there ceded the mill to the King of Denmark in 1543. The park is located in Munkwolstrup on the Ochsenweg. It is an archaeological open-air complex with 6 megalithic tombs. Since summer 2024, you can also admire the ox sculptures by the landscape artist Wolfgang Buntrock. They are made of dead wood and stand behind the large long grave.
