You can reach the castle via a "climbing path," which is a bit more challenging but also more adventurous, or via a good path with stairs on the steeper sections. So, it's easily accessible for everyone!

The canal leads through a tunnel and with it the cycle path.

In front of the bivouac site there is a small stream with clean water - I didn't see a toilet!

The Tunnel Revin is a tunnel at kilometre 39.19 of the Canal de la Meuse. The tunnel is located near the town of Revin, and is situated in the Ardennes department, located in the Grand Est region, in France. In France itself, the tunnel is known as Souterrain de Revin. The object is managed by Voies Navigable de France VNF.

From Givet to Mouzon, this route was developed by the Departmental Council of the Ardennes on the old towpath, along the Meuse. This green route allows you to discover the charms of the Ardennes without leaving the water!
