A quiet urban lake bordered by open grassland and small wooded sections in Vallensbæk Nordmark. The flat paths around the shoreline make it a popular spot for easy walks, birdwatching and short family outings. The lake is part of the larger green and water-rich landscape that also includes Vallensbæk Sø and Store Vejleå.

Perfect for an excursion with your kids, but also interesting as an adult to stop and have a look at the big kingfisher sculpture.

The beach café in Brøndby is located directly on the beach and offers a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere all year round with breakfast, lunch, and cakes. There is a playground on site for families, and parking is available free of charge.

Vejleåstien is a lovely path that can take you all the way around Copenhagen without much traffic. Next to this place there is a very nice MTB track on the small hill.

Roskildevej is not a very exciting road to bike along, but it has wide and good cycle pathes separated from the main road and feeling generally safe, usually wide enough for 3 bikes next to each other and with "holding statives" at red lights.

Beautiful hills with a lovely bike road below. The hills can also be climbed by foot or mountain bike and give some views from top.

Nice cycling path along the Damhus-Lake. Also great to run around.
