Neither a trail nor a hiking trail. It's a well-developed, gravel, and almost perfectly straight forest highway. There's nothing interesting to discover, nor any riding challenges. Ideal for covering distances without traffic, but definitely not a mountain biking highlight.

Wonderful path through the Hartmannsdorf Forest. You can just roll along the gravel path. But remember that there are several hiking trails along here and you will be sharing the path with walkers and hikers.

In 1993, the "Torfstich" opened as a small snack bar to provide hikers and day-trippers with small culinary specialties. After six years and increasing popularity, he expanded the snack bar into a restaurant with a guesthouse. Since 1999, guests have been able to spend their holidays with us near the Eibenstock dam. In 2009, the restaurant was expanded to include a small winter garden.
