In 1870/71, Reinsdorf soldiers took part in the Franco-Prussian War, and an obelisk was dedicated to the four dead on Sedan Day 1895 at the rectory. In 1929, a memorial was added for the more than 200 fallen soldiers of the First World War, and in 1997 the more than 400 fallen soldiers of the Second World War were registered. In 1891, the third church, St. Jacobus, was consecrated. It was modeled on the St. Nicolai Church in Aue. The St. James Church is located directly on the "Saxon Way of St. James". Pilgrims regularly come to the church to stop. Of course, we also offer travelers accommodation if this is desired. The special features of our aesthetically designed cemetery include the graves of Ilse and Ferdinand Schumann. The latter was Robert Schumann's grandson. The church was built from 1889 to 1891 in the neo-Gothic style. The sandstone altar has a Gothic wooden structure decorated with five life-size statues, Christ in the middle of the four evangelists. Beautiful and impressive church

The Königsmühle from the 16th century is one of the 11 mills that can be found on the mill hiking trail from Zschocken via Wildenfels to Schönau. The owner and namesake was Nicol König in 1569. The Kunz family, related to him, was an influential miller dynasty in this area. After the serious fire in 1890, large parts of the mill were destroyed and in 1897 the Königsmühle fell to Count Friedrich Magnus zu Solms-Wildenfels. In the 19th century, the Count of Wildenfels moved the stallion station of the Saxon State Stud to the Königsmühle. After 1945 the farm became a new farm.

A beautiful old brick church with a neat graveyard. When the church is open it is also very nice to look at from the inside.

Such cenotaphs or war memorials are still very important today as a memorial to the many dead. "Now you, O Lord, let your servant depart in peace, as you said..." says the so-called "Song of Simeon" (Gospel of Luke chapter 2, verse 29). However, the people who are remembered here did not die in peace, but rather became victims of war and tyranny. Many of the places you encounter along the way are a testament to the horror of war and tyranny - which is still relevant and important today.
