"Built by VEB Spezialkombinat Wasserbau, Betriebstalsperrenbau Weimar, Oberbauleitung Erzgebirge, 1967–1973" Ring piston valve: circa 1970; of technical-historical significance. Bopp und Reuther GmbH, nominal diameter 1000/900 mm, mass: 7.1 t, maximum flow rate 10,000 liters per hour, function: control valve in the dam's bottom outlet for flood control or as a pipeline valve, operation: manual, quick-release mechanism by weight.
