Town Church. "To the Holy Name of God" in Radeberg. Information: The foundation stone for a stone church was laid in 1486, and it was completed in 1498. The tall spire was demolished in 1611 due to structural instability and replaced with a new, flat, truncated cupola covered in slate. During the town fire of July 13, 1714, the church interior was destroyed, and reconstruction was slow and hesitant.

The post distance column from 1729 in front of the town hall is a replica made in 2012. The original was erected on the market as part of the Second Electorate of Saxony's land survey on October 28, 1729. In July 1791, it was moved to the middle of the market due to the expansion of the garrison guard house and remained there until 1852.
