19世紀末、子供がTeufelsgraben近くでの聖母マリアの出現について報告しました。Gorrenbergの麓で描写されたその場所は、その後数年間、好奇心旺盛な訪問者や巡礼者の目的地となりました。この地域の伝承は、同時期に大きな注目を集めたMarpingenでの聖母マリアの出現に影響された可能性があります。中世の廃村や、周囲の尾根にある、完全に自然起源とは思われない石の堆積物などの多くの地形構造は、今日までこの小さな谷に神秘的なオーラを与えており、少し注意を払えばそれを文字通り感じることができます。

Tilemann-Stella-Platz is a historic landmark along a varied cycling route around Bexbach. Named after the cartographer Tilemann Stella, information panels on site provide information about his surveying work in the 16th century.

The Schönbach meanders below Münchwies through a natural and very picturesque valley. A hike here is beautiful at any time of year.

The narrow gorge of the Kupferhumes is also called the Teufelsgraben. At this point the stream flows into the Münchwieser Saubach. The Spitzbubenweg takes you along here.
