The Wiesensee is an artificially dammed and created lake in the Westerwald, which is around 80 hectares in size. Basically, there is activity on the path around it at any time of the year, especially in summer you should watch out for strollers here. Because of its shallow depth and the amount of dirt and silt on the bottom, the Wiesensee is rather unsuitable for swimming and not recommended.
