Here is the entrance to the (former) barbecue hut. The hut is still standing! The location is fantastic – beautifully situated in the forest. I don't know when it was abandoned. There are trees lying down, the driveway is overgrown, but everything can still be saved. In the 90s, we had lovely evenings here with the youth group from the fair. Coming from Großseifen, the hut is a little way before the still-occupied "Weidling House."

A really nice cycling route.

The municipality of Langenbach near Kirburg is bordered by the Langenbach stream of the same name. Historically, it is unclear whether the village got its name from this stream or from the noble family “von Langenbach”, which was first mentioned in documents in 1261.

The DB train no. 3732 ran over the viaduct near Bad Marienberg, which spans the Nister, on a single track from Erbach- Fehl- Ritzhausen and back on a 1435 mm gauge.

You will find a bench here and can enjoy the view of the valley while taking a short break.

Hello, you can walk up the slope and cross the bridge. There are several bridges along the route that look similar. You can get on these. I was there. You can also go on the Great Nistertal Bridge.
