"In the Footsteps of the Romans" is the motto of the cycle path, equipped with information panels, from Gögging to Passau. Bad Gögging – Regensburg – Aholfing – Obermotzing – Rinkam – Straubing – Aiterhofen – Amselfing – Moosdorf – Irlbach – Loh – Stephansposching – Passau The VIA DANUBIA stretches for approximately 220 km along the Danube. Partly on the existing paths of the Danube Cycle Path, partly on a different route, the VIA DANUBIA embraces the region's rich cultural and historical heritage and leads cyclists from Bad Gögging to Passau under the motto "In the Footsteps of the Romans." At a total of 17 locations, information panels inform cyclists about the remnants of the region's Roman history, some of which are still visible.
