The small square around the church is - although located on the busy road from Ungstein to Kallstadt - a very special place: with the memorial for those who fell in the wars of 1870/71, 1914/18 and 1939/45 (memorial to a grieving mother), a baptismal font with wine symbols and numerous rest benches. The year 1715 (consecration 1716) can be found above the church door. As a landmark of Ungstein, you can always see this late baroque church from the vineyards between DÜW-Mitte and DÜW-Ungstein.
