Nice little bathing lake near the bird park

Beautiful small bathing lake with a spacious lawn and kiosk.

The Eckbach flows here at the beginning of the Wormser Sandbank into the Rhine. The water of the Eckbach is not exactly the cleanest - but it used to be even worse.

Our Eckbach. We almost live on the other end. It is a shame that there is no cycle path along the entire Eckbach. That would be an interesting route with a lot of variety and history (mills).

Small bathing lake in Bobenheim-Roxheim in the immediate vicinity of the bird park. In midsummer, the water quality is problematic due to the small size; then prefer to switch to the larger Silbersee or another bathing lake in the area.

This is the Worms raft harbor. The restaurant run by the water sports club on the peninsula offers delicious food both indoors and outdoors, except on Mondays.
