The Werlau Mushroom lookout point will be completely renovated in 2025. The mushroom's continued existence is a particular concern for the citizens of Werlau. Therefore, the local friends have taken on the restoration of the wooden structure themselves. The mushroom is currently housed in a hall... and it's doing well. It will be back for the new hiking season at the latest. - See photo of information board for text -

The Alte Kuhtränke (Old Cow Trough) is fed by a spring above Kestert that has been known since at least 1895. And it's drinking water quality!

Weddings in castles and palaces are very popular. But finding the perfect dream castle isn't always easy. Maus Castle is certainly a good bet!

When walking towards Kamp-Bornhofen, don't go through the gate in the fence, but continue a little further along the path to the left. You'll then reach this beautiful viewpoint. Coming from Kamp-Bornhofen, turn right immediately after the gate.

Immediately after the railway underpass on the B42, you enter the gorge. It becomes quiet, and all you can hear are the chirping of birds and the babbling of the Pulsbach stream. The path is very beautiful, but in places it's very narrow and steep, requiring surefootedness. I wouldn't walk it if it's wet. Here, we also come across the signs for the Rheinsteig trail, which then guide us to Prath.
