Here you can climb the city wall and walk to the rock tower. From here you have a beautiful view of Oberwesel and St. Martin.

The largest via ferrata section is relatively close to the beginning of the route, after which you continue on foot for a while before you get to the climbing section again.

This last climbing passage is once again a nice little climbing experience

This is where the via ferrata begins, and there is enough space to put on your equipment before going down the first ladder.

In this historic building you can rent climbing equipment and also have the opportunity to refresh yourself.

If you're used to the Bavarian and Austrian mountains and have a certain level of head for heights, the via ferrata isn't difficult. Far from the Alps, however, it's a beautiful little gem that's definitely worth the effort! However, if you're unsure, please definitely rent equipment ☝🏼👍🏼
