Plague of Nonza

Check your route. We planned to do the 640-meter-elevation tour, but then wanted to drive to the starting point, but 6 km before we arrived, the road was closed. The road is closed to regular vehicles. Anyone who ignores the sign and has a 4x4/all-wheel drive would probably be able to get up the road, but with a regular car, it's out of the question. And then 5.5 hours and 640 meters of elevation gain turns into more like 7.5 hours and 840 meters of elevation gain.

The place is very "earthy" when it rains

After Saint Julia of Nonza was crucified, her breasts were cut off and smashed against the rocks. At this spot today is the fountain of Saint Julia, whose waters free one from all ailments.

The beach of Nonza is an absolute highlight due to its special coloring. It can be reached via a steep descent. Alternatively, it is possible to climb to the watchtower in Nonza and enjoy a fantastic view of the beach.
