Chassepierre is an artists' village situated on the Semois River. Chassepierre derives from the Latin casa petrea ("stone house"). It is one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia.

Sedan (Land of heroic deeds) The Ardennes massif is followed by a vast plain where the Meuse flows peacefully. This border region was at the crossroads of numerous invasions. Cities were fortified, castles became impregnable. History left a very heavy mark here.
