There are four locks at Semuy, numbered 23 to 26, which are part of the long descent of 27 locks from Le Chesne to the branch to Vouzier. The lock has a drop of 3.70 meters and is suitable for ships of the Fréycinet type (38.5 meters long and 5.1 meters wide).
