It is the now deconsecrated old parish church of the town, originally on the site of the village's stately castle. Disused since 1878 after the construction of a new sanctuary. This old church later served successively as a wood store, wine cellar, barn, garage and community center. It is classified as a historical monument

This Himalayan-style Buddhist temple is splendid. It was founded by a Tibetan lama in 1974 and worship is still held there. The first floor gallery can be explored on a self-guided or guided tour, to be done without doubt.
