11世紀にまで遡る歴史を持つ赤い花崗岩の教会。1900年代初頭に建てられ、それ以前の教会からの要素を今も保存しています—1000年以上前の木材を使った、墓地の古い木造ポーチをお見逃しなく。

Beautiful section of the trail through the nature reserve. The biodiversity is particularly varied here, and you may spot kingfishers, white-throated dippers, beavers, salmon, trout, and even moose. The river alternates between rapids in the ravines, and calm, open pools. The dense forest gives the trail a fairytale-like feel.

Hillefors Mill was active between 1898 and 1988. Originally a sawmill and bone-crusher, it was later converted to oat processing. It is now a museum, and you can visit the site to see the still-functioning turbine. This spot is also a great place to observe migrating salmon and eels in the summer.

A super protective cover to rest or even to set up camp for a night I had a great sleep there! And there is also direct access to the lake. Just gorgeous there!

A few museum type shops and a café/restaurant for both Fika and full meals. There is a small shelter to store bikes too, though locking places are limited in the shelter. Other spaces are available around.

An old factory that today invites you to shop and linger. Small shops, café and beer garden. I found the hydroelectric power plants particularly interesting.

Nice little shelter with fireplace to spend the night or just get shelter from bad weather. Quite easily accessible from different sides, both on foot as with your bike. Great access to the lake for a nice cold morning swim ;-)
