Torpet is the Swedish name for a leased farm where the rent was paid by performing work for the owner. Here is the text from the sign: There was a farmstead here in the 19th century, Klätte-torpet. Nothing remains of the farm itself, but apple trees and lilac bushes reveal that a house once stood here. The farm consisted of a residential building and two smaller houses. The farmstead also had its own field. The map from the end of the 19th century shows that the field was located east of the farmstead, in the semi-open area that is now grazed. That the land was used as arable land is also evident from the flat and stone-free terrain. The farmstead belonged to the Berg farm, which was owned by the Crown. The smallholder leased the smallholding from the state. 19th century house dwellers often led a tiring life. In addition to cultivating his own land, the small farmer was required to perform forced labor on the main farm in payment for the rent.

In the beginning, Lafallhöjden farm was a Finnish dwelling place. He has a typical Location on top of a south facing located relatively steep slope with a wide view. At that time, every piece of land suitable for agriculture was used and therefore the farm is characterized by meadows, interrupted everywhere by very small fields. Along the old field ridges there are a large number of scree slopes, sometimes designed like terraces or walls, which gives one an idea of how much it cost to produce a crop from this soil. The existing building consists of a residential building, a cowshed from the 1950s, an earth cellar, two older sheds made of logs and a wooden shed made of upright timber. There are remains after even more constructions. After a long period of vacancy, encroachment and decay, the buildings have been repaired and maintained by Gunnarskogs Hembygdsförening since 1990. A great deal of work is being done to keep Lafallhöjden in good condition and to take care of it. But it has also had the positive side effect that the farm has been included in the national conservation plan for cultivated land and Lafallhöden is also of national interest for nature conservation.
