Virsehatt is a great 70-metre-high hill that rises like a pimple in Virsehatt Nature Reserve. There is a short, but very sweet, one-kilometre hilly hiking trail leading to the top, where there is a very scenic viewpoint. It is great for a lung-busting workout or a family amble to see the great views.

Beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately, we didn't have the full water, but it was still beautiful to see. It looks even more impressive from below than from above.

A beautiful, easily accessible waterfall. There are many spots above and below the waterfall that are ideal for swimming. The paths are not suitable for bicycles, strollers, or wheelchairs.

The path here takes you through the woods around the marsh. It's a magical place, with tall trees and dense undergrowth.

the village of Gårdshult is located on a hill in the northern part of the reserve. The slope towards the river Assman is partly covered with deciduous forest. The Gårdshult reserve covers 158 hectares and has been protected since 1991.

Smedhultamyren is an open raised bog with marshy areas. Wooden walkways take you across the marshes between the trees.

Beautiful forest section on the Danska Fall loop. The path meanders through the trees. Occassional wooden planks take you safely across muddy sections.

Great view of the lively river. You'll have to leave the main path slightly to reach the water.
