This barbecue area is located in the middle of the forest and in the immediate vicinity of the Heideloch. It offers several seating options and wood.

Heideloch, or Heidechuchi, is a rock crevice that can be crawled through. Fixed iron handholds provide the necessary support. A few meters south of Heideloch, you'll find the Flädermus-Stübli. This cave is about 20 meters long and about 10 meters deep.

Since 1988, the Aarburg Fortress has housed the Aarburg Youth Home, a home for male youth between the ages of 14 and 22. Unfortunately, due to its current function as a youth home, the fortifications are not freely accessible. The Wartberg has two castle complexes. The Neu Wartburg, today called Sälischlössli, is located on the northern peak, and the Alt Wartburg on the southern peak. The Alt Wartburg may have had a previous building from the 11th century. In the first half of the 13th century, the lords of Ifenthal built the castle, which is still in ruins today. The multi-storey residential tower of the lord of the castle and his family rose to the north. To the south was a walled courtyard with outbuildings. Access to the castle was via a rock path around the south side of the castle rock. The castle was later rebuilt.
