Southwest of Muurame, right on the shore of Lake Muuratjärvi, you step into a quiet forest that welcomes you with gentle hills and clearings. As you walk between birch and pine, small paths open up to views of the lake – perfect for pausing and soaking in the calm.

Jyväskylä is a lively city in central Finland, known for its beautiful lakeside scenery and cultural heritage. It features the largest collection of buildings by renowned architect Alvar Aalto, including the Alvar Aalto museum and Säynätsalo town hall.

Nice viewpoint, you can spot the lake in the distance.

The Säynätsalo Municipal Hall is one of the most significant works of architect Alvar Aalto, who has an internationally renowned position in the history of modern architecture. Aalto himself was fascinated by Säynätsalo and named the islands of Lake Päijänne Tahiti.

Satasarvinen is a viewpoint in Finland, known for its large boulders and ancient dead pine trees that stand on top of the hill. In Finnish, the name means "hill of a hundred horns"

From here you can have a good view of the lake.

Lake Jyväsjärvi is a scenic lake at the heart of Jyväskylä. Many can enjoy walking or cycling along the 13 km Rantaraitti trail, or go ice skating on the frozen lake in winter. The nearby Lutakko Harbour adds to the lively atmosphere with cafés, events, and waterfront views.
