There are about 36 Bronze Age roses (cairn tombs). Originally the graves were built by the sea, but due to the post-glacial land uplift they are now more than 15 km from the sea

if you just want to get quickly from Ulvila to Kokemäki (or vice versa), I’d recommend riding on the other side of the river instead: no town/village centres to navigate or busy highway to cross, less traffic in general (not that this side is too busy either), plus you even get better views of the river as a bonus

not much traffic, flat, okay asphalt on the roadway, long bike paths at both ends, especially the one in Friitala (NW) is in awful condition, waiting for a gap in traffic to get across the big road can take a while (you can wait in the left-turn lane in the middle of traffic going 100 km/h if you prefer...)

The Harjavalta hydropower plant is located in the Satakunta area on the Kokemäkijoki River. It was built in 1939 and is one of the most efficient power plants in southern Finland. The annual openings of the dam when the snowmelts look very dramatic when thundering masses of water find their way towards the Gulf of Bothnia.

Lalli (also "Statue of Lalli") is a sculpture by Aimo Tukiainen that depicts the farmer Lalli in the center of the former municipality of Köyliö in Kepola. According to legend, the farmer Lalli killed Bishop Henrik in 1156 on the ice of Lake Köyliönjärvi. (A really surprising legend, which does not parallel the actual togetherness as one meets the Finns today. Only the assumption remains, it was a very, very distant time!)

St. Olaf's Church, built in 1782, was built by Mikael Piimänen. Yläne Church, named after a Norwegian saint, is a wooden church built on stones.
