ポルト・コヴォは大西洋に面しており、シンプルな魅力にあふれています。白い家々、静かな通り、そして強い漁師の魂。ここでは、人生は海の ритму に合わせて進みます。 コスタ・ヴィセンティーナの中心部に位置し、サイクリストにとっては重要な拠点です。ドラマチックな崖、隠れたビーチ、そしてゆっくりと探索したくなる海岸沿いのトレイル。ダイビング、広場でのコーヒー、そして無限に広がる景色。ポルト・コヴォは、もう少しだけここにいたいと思わせる場所です。

プライア・ダ・サモケイラは、ポルト・コヴォから数キロ離れたアレンテージョ海岸にある自然のままの避難場所です。切り立った崖、隠れた入り江、透き通った水が、ロータ・ヴィセンティーナ沿いの壮大な休憩に最適な風景を作り出しています。 自転車で簡単に行くことができ、すぐ隣にはさらに素晴らしいビーチがあります。ぜひ泳ぎに行ってみてください。水はとても冷たいので注意してください。

Nice place for a stop, a beer and maybe a dip in the water

Magic Cactus – perfect location on the hillside with a view of the surfers, a terrace with shaded/sunlit spots, and very friendly staff. A beautiful beach is directly accessible from the bar.

Rocks in the water, small caves in the cliffs that frame the beach, and pools that form at low tide add to the charm of Praia da Samoqueira. A partially paved parking lot is available for parking. Due to the lack of tourist infrastructure, you'll need to bring everything you need for a great stay by the sea.

Depending on time of day, can be lots of traffic. Yet, all were polite and gave us plenty of room while passing.

Praia Grande, as hinted by the name, is the biggest beach in Porto Covo. It’s among the 41 beaches in the Alentejo coast awarded with the Blue Flag in 2023. It has a large car park, toilets, and a small beach bar/restaurant. Being somewhat less sheltered than the other beaches, the sea can be quite choppy depending on the weather conditions, so it’s great for surfing and body-boarding. But we’ve been to Praia Grande on several occasions where the sea was very smooth.
