The Church of St. Paul in Tavira (Igreja de São Paulo) was built in 1606 and was part of a former convent of the Hermits of São Paulo. The exterior is simple, but inside you'll find religious art from the 16th to the 18th centuries, including a Baroque altarpiece of Our Lady of Carmo. The church is located near Praça Dr. António Padinha.
