アラビア語の「奔流」を意味するsayhに由来する名前を持つリベイラ・デ・セイシェは、アレンテージョ地方とアルガルヴェ地方の自然の境界線を描き、オデセイシェのプライアで大西洋と出会うまで穏やかに流れています。 村と海の間にある谷は、緑の土手、開けた景色、サイクリングに最適な環境が広がる、まさに魔法のような場所です。 カヌーで川を上ったり、鳥を観察したり（運が良ければカワウソも見られるかもしれません）、穏やかな川と海で交互に泳いだりすることもできます。ここは記憶に残る場所のひとつです。

The windmills no longer turn in Vila do Bispo, once the breadbasket of the Algarve, but the charm remains. The white houses descend gently down the hill crowned by the church tower, and the narrow streets hold the soul of the old Algarve: whitewashed facades, colorful frames, stone doors, and shadows that alleviate the heat. Today, this welcoming village is a meeting point for major trails (the Fisherman's Trail, the Historical Way, and the Via Algarviana) and for travelers who find here rest, good food, and open-hearted people.

At the top of the Monchique mountain range rises Foia, the highest point in the Algarve, at 902 meters altitude. Its antennas mark the summit where the sky seems closest and, on clear days, the view reaches the Atlantic. Up here, the wind blows freely and the view is simply unforgettable.

The summit is worth it - unfortunately, the biker on the pedestal is no longer there.
