Only a couple of inhabitants and their large flock seem to contradict the feeling that time has stood still here for a long time. As we pass along the EN236, we almost miss the presence of Casal Novo. The village is located at the bend of the slope, on a steep slope, facing north, and the tree-covered surroundings of the village do not allow us to understand its profile.
