風と水の原始の力に非常に近い...ウルク方面へのアイセル湖沿いの美しい道。

レンメルにある改革派教会（Tsjerke oan it Dok（Kerkhof 1）としても知られる）は、1716年に建てられた歴史的なプロテスタント教会建築で、その豊かな歴史は13世紀にまで遡ります。この教会はレンメルの中心的な場所であり、「レンスター・トーレン」で認識でき、現在はレンメル・プロテスタント教会の集会所として機能しています。

What inevitably catches the eye of passing cyclists are the modern-day successors to the beautiful historic windmills. Centuries ago, our ancestors were already clever enough to harness the power of the wind for their own purposes, using it to drive millstones and grind grain into flour, for example. Often placed in the landscape by the dozen, this modern and rather unsightly version – in the past, every single mill was carefully considered in its architecture – serves to generate electricity. These wind farms are controversial, as their construction disregards the landscape, and, more importantly, the slender sails become death traps for birds.

The Urk municipal harbor is a modern and well-equipped recreational harbor on the edge of the historic village, with access to both quays and floating moorings on strutted jetties. Since its recent expansion, the harbor offers over 200 berths, a significant number of which are available to visitors during the summer months.

I especially liked the small houses with their little terraces.
